Amazing!!! Looks like just a bakery but has a full breakfast restaurant in the back. Our waitress Carliseth was the BEST!!! She is professional, polite, attentive and friendly. She took the time to explain the menu and answered all of our questions, even put in some special requests. We are definitely coming back.

Rubas offers a great selection of high-quality food, located near the old town in San Jose del Cabo. While there is often a wait to be seated, it's well worth it. The average cost is around 20-30 per person for a dish and a drink. Highly recommended!

This was bakery was highly recommended. Got coffee and some pastries to indulge. Staff were friendly and willing to help. Ended up getting a pick white chocolate donut, honey glazed corn muffin, chocolate croissant, and chocolate banana croissant. All were very good. I would come back to Ruba’s when I’m back in Cabo.

I felt the need to write this review. Because I was confused, as one previous customer gave this place one star despite raving about it in the comment. So if you're like me and you sort by worst first, here is my review to contradict it. Coming to Mexico, you expect many fabulous food options, and Ruba's is one that just might exceed your expectations. In my old age, recommendations are always beneficial and our server gave us the best! It unfortunately resulted in me spending more money than I wanted for brunch, but the food and drink are worth it. Try the mimosas—I had too many, but isn't that what you're supposed to do on vacation! I promise you won't be disappointed with brunch at Ruba's. I was pleased that I didn't have to make my own puff pastry.

Awesome Cafe with a great lineup of specialty coffee drinks. Try the grapefruit coffee if you want something really different but they have a number of other cold coffee drinks that you don't typically see. They also have something close to a bulletproof coffee as well. Breakfast here is excellent and the seating is comfortable albeit outside and you can sometimes get warm.

Phenomenal! Service, food, coffee, vibes. All of it! The baked goods are delicious, and the rest of the food was prepared perfectly. Don’t miss the housemade hummus! Oscar Raul is an exceptional server, and very gracious. 10/10. Definitely will be back.

This place is busy for a reason. Absolutely everything we ordered was a 10/10; is it quite obvious why they are suggested for a Michelin star. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal with elevated flavors. The coconut mimosa was brilliant and I would eat the banana french toast every single day, put Rubas on your Cabo bucket list.

Great breakfast. Very filling as we went for a late breakfast so I would say more of a brunch! They came by with a selection of baked goods first. The banana bread was delicious. We shared one. The options are many and our choices were excellent. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The fruit and vegetables were fresh and tasty. Enjoy a leisurely morning in a lovely courtyard setting .
